Interacting with over one lakh beneficiaries through the virtual medium, CM Chouhan said, “We are working relentlessly to provide housing-for-all and fulfil PM Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by building Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Our aim is to make the lives of our citizens more comfortable, and we will not leave any stone unturned in our pursuit to ensure that each eligible beneficiary owns a pucca house in Madhya Pradesh.” CM Chouhan also informed that the state government had earlier approved the construction of 8,68,000 houses, out of which 4,72,000 beneficiaries have received the ownership of their newly-constructed houses already, while the rest of the houses are being constructed on mission mode. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the construction of new houses is carried out by the beneficiaries as part of the Beneficiary-Led Construction, against which the government provides a corpus of ₹2,50,000, out of which the state provides ₹1 lakh to the eligible beneficiaries.

Besides, we are also providing ration at 1 per kg under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Yojana.” He also announced that initiation of the Cleanliness survey, wherein the work of verification on the field will start from March 1. He encouraged the district administration teams to work dedicatedly towards the success of this survey.
